These terms apply to businesses using Call Catch Scotland’s missed-call answering and enquiry capture service.
Call Catch Scotland helps businesses capture enquiries when they are unable to answer incoming calls.
Depending on the agreed setup, the service will:
The customer’s telephone will continue to ring normally before unanswered calls are directed to the agreed Call Catch Scotland service.
Call Catch Scotland does not provide technical trade advice, prepare quotations, arrange appointments, guarantee response times, or make commitments on behalf of the customer unless specifically agreed in writing.
The following monthly packages are available:
The customer’s selected package and monthly price will be confirmed before the service begins.
A handled missed call means an incoming call answered by the Call Catch Scotland service on the customer’s behalf. A call may count towards the monthly allowance even if the caller does not provide all requested information.
Calls disconnected before being answered by the service do not count towards the allowance.
Where a customer approaches or exceeds their monthly allowance, Call Catch Scotland may contact them to discuss a more suitable package or an agreed alternative arrangement.
Additional charges will not be applied without the customer’s prior agreement.
The service operates on a rolling monthly basis.
There is no fixed-term or long-term contract.
Customers may cancel at any time by providing at least seven days’ notice, in accordance with section 12.
Use of the service is subject to these Terms & Conditions even though there is no minimum fixed contract period.
Monthly subscription payments are due in advance.
The service will normally begin once the agreed payment has been received and the customer’s setup has been completed.
If a payment is missed, overdue or unsuccessful, Call Catch Scotland may pause or stop the service until payment is received.
Any additional setup charges, call-handling charges or other fees will be explained and agreed in advance.
The customer is responsible for any charges applied by their own telephone provider, including applicable call-forwarding or diversion charges.
Call Catch Scotland will check the customer’s existing phone setup and use the safest suitable missed-call connection.
Any required setup arrangements will be confirmed before the service goes live.
We aim to activate new customers within approximately 24 to 48 hours where reasonably possible. Activation times may vary depending on telephone arrangements, customer availability, network providers and third-party systems.
Activation times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
The customer must provide accurate business information, notification contact details and any agreed call-handling instructions.

Where personal information is processed or accessed outside the United Kingdom, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data-protection law.
Some call-handling systems may record calls or generate written transcripts where those features are enabled.
Any recordings or transcripts will be used only for legitimate service purposes, including enquiry capture, service administration, quality assurance, troubleshooting or compliance.
Where recording or transcription applies, Call Catch Scotland and the customer will take appropriate steps to ensure callers receive relevant privacy information and any required notification.

Cancellation requests should clearly identify the business and the service being cancelled.
Where possible, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid monthly billing period.

Payments already made for part-used monthly billing periods are not refundable.
Following cancellation, the customer is responsible for removing or updating any call-forwarding arrangements associated with the service.
Call Catch Scotland may suspend or end the service if payments remain outstanding, the service is misused, or continued provision would create a legal, security or operational risk.
Call Catch Scotland may make reasonable improvements or operational changes to the service from time to time.
Where a proposed change materially affects the customer’s service or monthly price, reasonable advance notice will be provided.
Customers who do not wish to continue following a material change may cancel in accordance with these terms.
Any agreed additional services or package changes will be confirmed before the revised charges apply.
